Who is this guy?

Do you really wanna know?

Born in New Zealand some time back. Went to Maori Hill Primary School then Kaikorai Valley High before joining the RNZAF as an NZCE Airman Cadet in 1968. Graduated 1972 with an NZCE in Aeronautical Engineering. Then embarked on the typical Kiwis “Big Trip Overseas”.

Got to see quite a few places, and spent a while in the U.K. “home” as it was refered to by many New Zealanders in those days, before travelling on to New York and then to Canada by bus!!

This trip is presently on hold (has been for the last 34 years).
Met my dear wife Judy not long after arriving in Ontario and we have been happily married since 1976.

After travelling around New Zealand and the pacific in 1979 I started Precision Sportscar and for the next 23 years grew the business and helped raise our 2 boys Drew and Robin.

  5. Michael,
I have pressure tested my Jensen Interceptor gas cap on a scrap filler neck and it starts to give a faint hiss at about 3psi. Before I changed to a softer gasket rubber, it would hiss more like 1 psi. Is this sealing adequate to prevent fumes from entering the cabin?
    Thanks,
    Ken

  6. Hi Michael,
Have just read your blog about water pump rebuilding (very informative) and I notice that you mention that you have repair kits available. I am in Australia and I need a couple of kits for BN7/BJ7. I imagine these would be the same as the BJ8 kit. Can you advise whether you can supply and if so, how much would two kits cost delivered to Aust.
    Best Wishes
    Stuart
